Stop Giving The Banks Money!!!!

Welcome Welcome Welcome

Dear lord, has it really been so long since my last posting? Many apologies to one and all
I'd better make it up to you then, with some absolutely stonking mashups that I've found on my cybertravels.

Lets start by answering a question that I was recently asked. There seems to be some debate as to whether you can get on to iTunes without a credit card number. Answer, yes you  can!
The question was raised over the State of Trance Invasion World Tour and the podcasts surrounding them. Podcasts are Free, podcasts on iTunes are Free, but to download them you need an account. Install iTunes, look for a free app and it will ask you to make an account, because you have chosen a free app the option to set up a free account is now availible. For a more detail explanation take a look at the how to geek website
Hope this helps

Now to Business!
Everyone has been banging on about a mashup doing the rounds of Payphone/Call me maybe, but it seems they are talking about the youtube listing for IM5 - "Call Me Maybe/Payphone (Mashup)" . Firstly this isn't a mashup, it's a bunch of pre-pubescent numbnuts trying to be youtube superstars instead of getting a real job when their collective balls decide to drop, and frankly, it makes my teeth itch.

So I went looking for an actual Call Me Maybe/Payphone mashup, and if you look on SoundCloud, you will find some damn good efforts, (but don't bother with the covers).

The two call me maybe mashups that really floated my boat, were these babies.
Firstly, CALL ME MASHUP MAYBE ( Kingsley Okoro ), a real dancefloor ripper, absolutely superb, and coming in at a hefty 15.12 minutes.

The second one that pricked my ears was Call Me Maybe (Mashup) - Knock-Knock-Uno, again, a pumping beats floorfiller which run at a more modest 4.52 minutes. love it!

Next up is something I found over at The Mashup Radio, Dylan Vasey - You call my name but where have you been, containing some lovely flavours, theres Cheryl Cole – Call My Name, Rihanna – Where Have You Been, Flo Rida ft Sia – Wild One & David Guetta ft Nicki Minaj – Turn Me On. This one works really well, and I really like the video too.

Emeli Sande is having pretty successful time at the moment, and there are a quite a few mashups doing the circuit of her current track My Kind Of Love, an absolutely beautiful song. The two that have caught my attention are the Sonatron Mix and the Wideboys Mix, they are both punchy with a great beat, but haven't been overdone and don't deflect from the original track

While checking these out I came across this little beauty, Alex Clare - Too Close DaveOne Mashup, full of big fat beats and an absolute feast for the ears.

And finally, I have Four mashups for you to peruse of David Guetta's Titanium. I know it's been around for a while, but It's an absolute belter, and It's still riding high in the charts aswell. Firstly we have DJ Schmolli's Titanium 500, which your all probably familiar with, thats why I have listed the next three, DJ Newklears mashup, Titanium Starships & for desert, the Feder Mashup.

One Last listing here, ViC - Perfect Happiness, This mashup simple and beautiful, the type of track that I can listen to over and over again. Acapella to this track is Gossip - "Perfect World"
mixed with the Instrumental of Sam Sparrow - "Happiness" (The Magician remix). This track can be found on 'Mashup Culture vol.2'.
